The World Through a Seasoned Lens

I didn't start learning photography in a studio, though I eventually put in actual classroom time. I started learning out in the world; passively, for many years, during my time in the Army just seeing the breathtaking sights the world has to offer. Later I took a more active role in developing my artistic and critical eye, from Parque Nacional Cajas in the Ecuadoran Andes and the Jotunheimen national park of Norway, to the magnificent sights we have here in our own country like in Glacier Bay Alaska, Glacier Park Montana, and the vibrant celebrations in New Orleans. Since then I have enrolled as a student at the Houston Center for Photography to learn from photographers who's travels and adventures make mine look like weekend getaways. Today I bring the synthesis of my experiences and what I have learned to you, to capture those genuine, unscripted moments that define our lives, like a child's first time at the touch with a ray swimming by.

I don't just bring you photos, I want to show you thing beautiful things you might have missed. Based in Midtown, I specialize in lifestyle portraiture and fine-art landscapes for those who value authenticity.
